Rum-mi House serves as a temporary home for many families whose children are undergoing long-term treatment at the Oncology Hospital. Here, each afternoon is not only a time for rest, but also a moment for both the children and their families to pause after a long and demanding day of treatment. Recently, Inspire Agency partnered with a volunteer club to organize an interactive session for patients staying at the house, contributing to the creation of a welcoming space where children and their families could engage and connect with one another.
A space where connections can begin
The program featured interactive activities and direct gift-giving moments, thoughtfully designed to suit the physical condition of children undergoing treatment. Rather than following a rigid structure, the activities were carried out flexibly, allowing each child to participate at their own pace and in a way that felt most comfortable to them.
Throughout the program, the children actively engaged in each activity—from playing games and having conversations to connecting with members of the organizing team. As a result, the atmosphere at Rum-mi House became livelier, filled with laughter and small, heartfelt exchanges among the children, their parents, and the team.

More than just a social activity, the moments created that afternoon offered a rare pause for the children and their families amid a challenging treatment journey. The laughter that filled the space, even if only for a short time, helped ease some of the pressure built up over long days, while also bringing renewed strength and encouragement for both the children and their loved ones as they continue moving forward.
